Who Is God? God is our Creator and the holy, righteous, and loving Lord of all. He created us in His image to know Him, love Him, worship Him, and live for His glory. Everything we have ultimately comes from Him. What Is Sin? Sin is our rebellion against God. Every one of us has sinned through our thoughts, words, actions, and attitudes. Sin separates us from a holy God, and its ultimate consequence is death and judgment. We cannot remove our guilt simply by trying to be a better person or doing good works. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23 Why Did Jesus Come? Because God loves us, He provided a way for us to be reconciled to Him. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came into the world, lived a perfectly sinless life, and willingly gave Himself for us. Jesus died on the cross in our place, bearing the punishment for our sins. His death was not an accident—it was God's gracious plan to provide forgiveness and redemption for sinners. “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8
