Sunday School Ministry

Sunday School at India Gospel Assembly is a dedicated time for children and young teenagers to learn God’s Word in a loving, nurturing environment. We believe that teaching Scripture early and consistently is vital to building a strong foundation in Christ from Pre-Primary (Kindergarten) to 12th Grade. 

 

PRAISE & WORSHIP

Sunday School teachers will lead children in singing and praising God through worship and action songs. Also, there will be song books handed out for the lyrics.

WORKBOOKS & TEXTBOOKS

The Brethren Sunday School program is focused on teaching children the Word of God and helping them grow in their love for the Lord Jesus Christ. Through important Bible stories, weekly memory verses, and lessons suited to each age group, students are taught not only to understand Scripture but to live it out in their daily lives.

The textbook and workbook are simply tools to help with this learning. The workbook includes activities such as coloring pages, puzzles, Bible questions, and short reflections that help reinforce each lesson in a clear and practical way. The textbook contains forty lessons in total, with about half from the Old Testament and half from the New Testament. Each week, students are expected to complete the assigned lesson and memory verse during the Sunday School class. Please note that Pre-Primary students will receive only a workbook and will not use a textbook.

A Sunday School teacher will provide the appropriate books based on your child’s academic grade level. Parents are kindly asked to inform the teacher of their child(ren)’s grade so that the correct materials can be given.

More than anything, our prayer is that children would come to know Christ personally, love Him deeply, and place Him first in their lives above all else. We desire to see them grow into faithful disciples who obey His Word. Whether a child is just beginning to learn about Christ or has been attending for years, Sunday School is a place to grow stronger in faith and be grounded in Scripture.
